Question: body side cladding
The 2003 and 2004 Expeditions had a problem with the side door cladding fading terribly. From what I've found in a forum, Ford would have replaced them while the vehicle was under warranty (pre- 30,000mi). I bought this used and the panels/cladding are faded with swirls going through them. I checked with a body shop and there is a "kit" to replace them for a little over $100. The labor estimate was 8 hours! I find that hard to believe. Is this something I should be able to do myself, or is it really that big of a project?
