I just purchased the deville, which had been sitting. Little old lady car, and she died. It had a steady miss which didn't seem like it would be serious. Turns out #6 has no compression. I am thinking stuck intake valve, burnt exhaust valve, warped cam, or something else in the top end. Does anyone know of a valve sticking in these cars when they sit? The car is pristine, has obviously had a very easy life. No signs of hotspots or head gasket issues that would indicate a burnt valve. Bottom end sounds fine.
