Question: Is it normal for 2013 forester to shake when I start my car?

My new 2013 forester shakes (I can see it and feel it) when I start my car. I I had a 2004 forester before and never experienced this problem.
I took it to a dealership's mechanic and they told me that it is normal for this car. they called it a cold start, and said that it does it to be more efficient.
